CEREMONY & SACRAMENT COURSE 2025 APPLICATION

There are four semesters of coursework involved in our Training of Ministers program: Preparation & Reading, Spiritual Directions, Ceremony & Sacrament: Heart Opener, and Ceremony & Sacrament: Niños. This form is to apply for the the third course, the Ceremony and Sacrament: Heart Opener course beginning in September 2025 ONLY if you were not enrolled in the January 2025 Preparation & Reading course. Please note that admission is limited for those who were not enrolled in the January 2025 Preparation & Reading course.

As a pre-requisite for entering this course, all students must have three guided individual sessions with a trained minister or guide and have completed at least 100 hours of a counseling skills training program. Students should have completed the Preparation & Reading class or received credit for previous outside work in order to enroll.

Upon completion of this course, students will be eligible for Ceremony & Sacrament: Niños which is the final classroom work before the two years of Supervision and Mentoring. At the completion of this course, students will be eligible for a provisional Assistant Ministers license, and with supervision, may begin their ministry using the Heart Opener.

Dates and Time Commitments

We will meet on the following dates (Classes will be held on Zoom unless during a residential weekend):

Residential Weekend: September 28-30th
October 20th
November 10th
December 1st
Residential Weekend: December 11-14th

The first Residential Weekend will take place in Upper Lake, California and the second in the DC Metro Area.
